We watched America's Got Talent last night an there was a very talented ventriloquist but his "puppet" was an ipad and a flat TV screen.  He used photos of the judges on the screen and made them talk. He was very funny and it was a unique act. I can see unlimited potential with this! I can't remember his name right now.

Very well actually, but I'm not sure the exact details. I do know he had a remote in his right hand that controlled the movements of the eyes and mouths. I just wonder if there's an app for the iPad, or iPhone that will let you do it to any picture.

I bet you are right about it being an app for iPad. I did see he had one in his hand at one point.  I found a couple apps but I don't think they are the one he used although they do look interesting.

It was amazing and you could tell it was not  all practiced as he responded impromptu in the end. Oh technology.
