I've never done it simply because of cost but at $300 it is tempting to give it a test run.

Sounds to me from reading the full story that you have made every attempt to contact these folks. That is way beyond what most people would do. I feel you have met your moral obligation and should let it be.
The only suggestion I can offer and even this may not help things is to make it very clear up front when they are buying the pattern that it is a hard copy and the they will receive an email with a link. Let them know what email/host they need to white list in order to insure they receive the email. More then likely you have already done that and I know full well that folks still do not always read.
I've gone to great lengths to try and make sure that one an email is sent after registration and that they need to validate and still end up with folks who do not activate their accounts. Granted some or robot spammers but I can tell that some where most likely legit. Go figure.
There is only so much we can do.

Could be that Rikka like me was not familiar with Kony 2012. Kony monster was a bit hard for me to understand at times so that may be the issue also. Rikka's first language is not English.
I think it is pretty good. Again it was hard for me to understand Kony Monster at times. I think part of that is the quality of sound. I don't have the greatest speakers on my computer right now so sound is a bit muddled at times. I am not sure about the Julay reference on the wall. Is that just because I am too old?

Well first of course you need to be registered with FB. Once you do that I would suggest creating a page for your business or other interest. I'll leave the how to on that up to the FB help section. One thing I might suggest is creating a registration/login that is just for your business instead of using your personal account. That way you can separate out all that personal stuff easier. 
You also have the option of creating a Group but I would suggest not doing that. Instead join some of the existing groups out there and get involved with them.
Are you talking about keywords? Keywords are normally used in the header of a page (not something you see) and at one time search engines used them to index your site for searching. Folks used to take advantage of that so now they don't rely on them as much. Keywords now must match content in the page they are used on to be of any real use. No real reason to change them unless the content of the page is changed. Mine have stayed the same for years. That being said with something like a blog since it is dynamic you have the option to control the keywords for each blog post. Still though they should match the content of the entry. For example if you did a post on shadow puppets you would want to make sure that was part of your keywords but one on marionettes would instead want to make sure you have used marionette as a keyword. That is kind of simplifying the whole thing but should give you an idea.

I used to preform solo but was and am not a ventriloquist. I grew up in the era of Wayland and Madame and he was not a ventriloquist so I didn't find it odd to preform with a puppet while my lips moved.
