While this really has nothing to do with puppetry I still think some will enjoy it.

I think maybe places like this are more common then we may realize. In Kansas City there are two places that display puppets.
I've mentioned before the Puppetry Arts Institute (PAI) in past post. It is open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. Not only does it have the museum aspect but also presents workshops and performances. It is not a huge space but they really pack the puppets into the displays. Well worth the $3.00 for adults or $1.50 for children donation.

The Toy & Miniature Museum of Kansas City is much larger. It is in an old 38 room house. Thieu hours are Wed. – Sat: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. While the majority of their displays are toys or miniatures they do have quite a few puppets on display. In fact at one time they had an entire room of puppets and also did puppet shows.

Puppet Hub is a good site. The format is a bit different but I don't think they are quite as active over there as we are here. I did go ahead and pay my membership over there and check in each day but replies are slow to things often. It is still free to read everything you just have to pay if you want to post.
