Hi, I recently found a small cat marionette that I played with as a boy. The strings were broken but the controller was present. I've bought some 0.6mm thread and have replaced the strings. The controller is shaped like a cross with 6 eyes to tie strings to. How do I work out where to tie the strings and how to tie them on the controller? The cat has two strings on the head, one on the neck, one at the rear of the body,  one at the end of the tail and one string on each of the 4 legs.  What sort of knot is used to tie the strings to the controller? I'm new to this,  any help appreciated,  thanks 😊
