I finished my puppet "Baby Cakes" this evening!  Yay!  There are still a few things I want to do.  I'd like to give her a colorful scarf and there are few things I want to sew.   This is the first puppet I've ever made, so I'm very pleased with the results.  Once I get a little money saved up I may invest in a sewing machine since hand-sewing takes such a long time and I'm not very good at it.  I like using hot glue, but it's kind of messy and you can't use it for everything.  She's a single rod puppet which is easier for me to control.  I've had some fun with her so far, perfecting her voice (being a man doing a female's voice is quite interesting) and giving her a personality.  I've added a few shots of the finished product.  Tomorrow I'll do the final touches, but overall she's 95% complete!
