After finishing Baby Cakes I still had lots of fabric that I really have no place for, but I didn't to throw it away so I gave myself a little afternoon project and made a bat.  I'm terrified of bats in real life, but I can't help but love this little guy!  Here is a pic.  The stitching is pretty goofy (I thought I was using black thread, but it turns out it was dark green) - but it sort of gives him a feel like he's wearing a cape.  He also has a snarled bottom lip - but he's a puppet so he doesn't have to be perfect.  No name yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something interesting.

Thanks guys!  Yeah, the bottom was on purpose.  I thought it kind of enhanced the "wingy" look.    I might add some sharp teeth, but I kinda like the idea of him being a vampire bat that can't bite cuz he has no teeth!
