I just fully read the link I posted and see that Kraken in German actually means Octopus so perhaps you did already realize with it was... sorry. 

No problem, Shawn. Really "Kraken" is used for octupusses and giant squids if you don't mean it zoologically but more... mythological. I guess the secound meaning is exactly like the English? I think the word is possibly from old Norwegian. (It is also a monster in D&D... )
