Great project!! It really looks like you're having a great time (even with the "boring" bits?). I usually leave the boring bits to do last as well.

We are having a great time.  It's rife with challenges and problems, but a fun, incredibly educational puppet experience.  I do have to rebuild one character though, which is a bit of a drag.  He was one of my first puppets built for the project and my skills were far weaker than they are now.  He quickly began to fall apart, but I think I have it worked out now.  Always a learning experience.

ahhhh... I get the connection. I just asked you where you were at with your movie, on another thread... and here you are here. gotcha! It certainly is a challenge doing a feature. We are only 10 mins into ours, and it  has taken all year. LOTs  of hold ups, computer problems etc. I take my hat off to you for the speed at which you are progressing. It's looking great.  Did you get your lip attachment situation fixed, by the way?

Hi there folks.  Well, we shot the space ship interior and it went very well.  It's a short scene but still a full day's work, complete with sweaty forearms and sore shoulders.

I did have to rebuild another puppet, though not for this scene.  I was worried how well these puppets would hold out as they were the first two I built.  As my skills developed the puppets got better in style and structure.  The aliens help up masterfully though and it seems that all is well.
