Nice glasswear, looks like you robbed a real lab. I'm a chemist, my lab coat has acid holes and stains. There are so many little touches it is hard to catch them all in your scenes, they will have to watch your movie multiple times to see everything.

irradiated monkeys! You  even got some of them in there. NIce  stuff. I agree with Snail. looks like you  robbed a real lab! By the way how did your promotioning with Big Kris go?

Yes, I like to add those little details that no one will ever really see.  Not sure why, it's just fun.  In the apartment scene I have a car ad with half a page of text that no one will ever read, but it's funny to me so I put it in.

The glassware I got from my cousin, who is a pharmacist.  Some of the tech stuff I got from the science teacher where I work.  Some of the other jars and bottles are just stuff I accumulated over the years anticipating that someday I may need them (turns out I was right) and a few local thrift stores.

I liked the irradiated monkeys bit too.  I wanted to say Radioactive but when I was making the sign my brain just couldn't come up with the word for some reason.  Weird.  Irradiated works just as well I suppose.  I find it interesting that the monkey supplier had to put a caution not to eat the monkeys on the box.  I wonder how many people did that before they realized they need to tell people not to.

The Big-Kris interview was great.  I got an mp3 of it but I have no idea how to post it anywhere.  Apparently there is a cloud or something, but I'm not exactly tech savvy.

Love the latest set! I think Irradiated is a much better word then Radioactive. That is actually what made it really stand out for me.

In regards to uploading MP3's, I think I have it set so you can upload them to the Gallery but unfortunatly there is not easy way set up to embed them or play them once uploaded.  The better solution may be to use a service like Tunes To Tube http://www.tunestotube.com/  They use the Auth system of Google to upload a flash movie to your google account built from a picture and the mp3 that you uploaded to their site.

Actually for you I would suggest that you simply make your own movie with the mp3 set as the soundtrack.   That way you put your own images and text on the screen. Upload to YouTube and your done.

I was looking at your site again just now and noticed the "Where's Fishy..." notations on the video page. Are going to need to keep a look out for him in "It Came From Uranus"?    I know that is really random and out of the blue but hey I am easily distr ....oh look a butterfly!

Wow, awesome. That's one cool lab!
Re: It Came from Uranus Posted by PoorFishy on Sep 09, 2012
Shawn, that's a good idea with the mp3 and YouTube.  Very easy to do.

As for 'Where's Fishy', yes, he is in the film.  In fact, we have all sorts of references to our other shorts in the film - there's a box of Tobacc-Os, the book from The Chip Farthington Show, and Mr. Dingles' hat.  Fishy is a little hard to see, but he is in the film.

Rikka, thatnks.  I'm glad you like it.

You are so great. Wish that I had the energy...
Re: It Came from Uranus Posted by PoorFishy on Sep 11, 2012
Thank you.  It takes a LOT of energy and it's pretty exhausting.  It will be even more so on Saturday and Sunday as we have 30 pages to hopefully shoot.  To say it will be a marathon weekend is a bit of an understatement.  But hopefully we'll git-r-done!  So to speak.
