This rod-arm puppet is tough to describe and to photograph. The fur is gray, with dark red 'roots'. When it is laying flat it is very grey with a red tint. Any movement, and the red shows. Its a neat effect. For the eyebrows nose and goatee I trimmed away the grey, just leaving the red. so that's the base color. He reminds me of a cool, jazz musician-type.
