I like the mottled blues, but it is a lot of blue. I think it could use a punch of black somewhere. My sister in law is a good artist and she outlines in black a lot it makes everything sharper/crisper. If you add yellow lines on the sides they might stand out more if outlined in black. I know that this puppet is not the one you will use but if some black yarn was placed around his eyes they would pop out more and draw attention to them. I can see black lines on your square corners, maybe overlay of foam sheet strips. Maybe some geometric symbols like triangles. Sounds like you are running out of time, hope it goes well.

So, the M.P.T. didn't stay on long, maybe about 2 hours. Saturday was too crowded for a costume this size. Then on Sunday, I realized the legs had given me friction burn and a couple of bald spots on my legs, so it will be redesigned. But I did take the puppet around for photos. Had a blast, and a lot of great comments.

Looks like you had fun. Glad it worked out for you. The legs looked good hope you can get the problem fixed so it is more comfortable. Puppetry can be hard on you sometimes.
